How I Can Help

A cozy bedroom with a window, a round table with a laptop, and four chairs near the window. There are multiple potted plants on the table, a small side table with a lamp, a bed with a striped pillow and colorful blanket, a bookshelf filled with books, and artwork on the wall featuring a cat and other designs.

Online Therapy

Therapy is now more accessible through the use of technology. Online therapy or telehealth services can be provided to you over a confidential video service or telephone.  By opting for telehealth you eliminate the inconveniences of driving to an office because you are able to receive therapy from your own home or office. Many people find the same benefits from online therapy as in-person therapy, with the added benefits of reduced cost, convenience, and often more frequent meetings.

EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders. EMDR therapy is designed to resolve unprocessed traumatic memories in the brain, and has shown to be effective in fewer sessions than other psychotherapies. Vibrational Sound Healing

Sound healing uses vibrational frequencies to balance the body, mind, and emotions. Using tuning forks, we work with your body's energy system to release stress, ease emotional blockages, and create a sense of deep relaxation. Sound healing is not a replacement for psychotherapy or talk therapy; rather, it complements your work with your therapist. In order to experience sound healing, you don't need to be a therapy client; you can have sound healing sessions as a standalone service. Visit Vibrational Sound Healing to learn more or book your first session.

Walk and Talk Therapy

Walk-and-talk therapy allows us to have a therapeutic conversation while walking outdoors. It’s an opportunity to incorporate the benefits of movement, nature, and therapy at the same time. Clients report that the combination of walking and talking can help them feel “unstuck” from thinking patterns they have been struggling with for a long time. Research shows that creativity, self-awareness, emotional awareness, and other positive therapy outcomes can be heightened during movement.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is a form of therapy that involves one or more therapists working with several people at the same time. Group therapy can offer a variety of benefits, from sound healing sessions, skill development, psychoeducation about the common issues those in the group are dealing with, emotional support, and community. Group sizes range from 6 to 12 participants and will typically be time limited; for instance, meeting one time per week for 8 weeks in a row. Our next group, Healthy Relationships After Trauma, will begin on February 18th, 2026.

EMDR Intensives

An EMDR intensive is a focused, short-term therapy program designed to help you dive deep into healing in fewer sessions. Unlike traditional therapy, which might take place once a week over months or years, an EMDR intensive condenses the therapy process into several days of concentrated sessions. This allows for rapid progress, addressing core issues more quickly, and providing you with the tools and insights you need to move forward with confidence and clarity. What I Can Help With

Imposter Syndrome

Imposter Syndrome often shows up when you’re doing everything “right” yet still feel like you’re falling short. Sometimes you can pinpoint exactly why you doubt yourself, and other times the insecurity feels completely disconnected from your actual abilities. Imposter Syndrome can present as chronic self‑criticism, perfectionism, fear of being “found out,” overworking, difficulty accepting praise, and the belief that your success is due to luck rather than skill. These patterns can make it exhausting to show up fully in your work, relationships, and daily life. Therapy can help you understand the roots of these beliefs, build confidence, and reconnect with a grounded sense of your own competence and worth.

Stress & Emotional Overload

When responsibilities pile up faster than your capacity to manage them, stress can shift from a normal response to a constant state of overwhelm. Emotional overload may show up as irritability, difficulty concentrating, feeling easily triggered, or shutting down when things feel too big to handle. These patterns can make it hard to stay present in your work, relationships, and daily routines. Therapy can help you understand what’s fueling the overload, strengthen your coping skills, and create more space for calm, clarity, and steadiness in your life.

Trauma and PTSD

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can happen when someone experiences any terrible or life threatening event such as combat, an abusive relationship, or an assault. There are many different types of emotional and physical traumas, but the common result is that you develop unhelpful beliefs that make you feel stuck and unable to move past what happened. Without judging the size of your trauma, therapy can help you heal and recover so you can live life fully. EMDR Therapy is widely considered one of the best and quickest treatments for post traumatic stress disorder, trauma, and other stress disorders by numerous research based organizations.

Relationship Issues

Individual therapy for relationship issues can be a powerful tool for reclaiming your life and your happiness. Whether you are single, dating, or in a long term relationship, you may be struggling to get your needs met in relationships and you don’t understand why. Common issues that therapy can help improve are relationship problems, effective communication, a pattern of toxic or abusive relationships, work/life balance, and life transitions such as parenthood or divorce.

Career Burnout

Having a sense of stability, confidence, and purpose can be difficult when work demands begin to outweigh your capacity, which is why many people push themselves long past the point of exhaustion. Despite your best efforts to keep going, you may still find yourself overwhelmed, depleted, and struggling to manage the stress that once felt manageable. Career burnout can leave you feeling disconnected, irritable, unmotivated, or unsure of your next step. Therapy can help you understand what’s driving your burnout, clarify what you need, and develop new coping strategies that keep you grounded without spiraling into overwhelm.

Identity & Self-Worth

Questions about who you are and what you bring to the world can surface during times of stress or disconnection. Challenges with identity and self‑worth may show up as second‑guessing yourself, comparing yourself to others, or feeling unsure of your value. These patterns can make it difficult to feel grounded in your work, relationships, and daily life. Therapy can help you reconnect with your authentic self, understand the roots of these beliefs, and build a steadier sense of confidence and inner trust.
